John Noseworthy, LLM
Lawyer and Founder
John Noseworthy is dedicated to advocating for and vigorously defending his clients. John has extensive experience in defending Criminal Code and regulatory offences. With two decades of practice in this area, he has successfully argued cases in all levels of court in Newfoundland and Labrador. As a former provincial and federal prosecutor, John brings a unique perspective to cases that he defends.
John graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from Dalhousie Law School, known for its Weldon tradition of public service. John also has a Master of Laws degree specializing in Criminal Law, from Osgoode Hall Law School, which is known for its commitment to social justice and academic research.
In his spare time, John is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association (Newfoundland and Labrador Western Regional Representative), the Criminal Law Association, and is involved in various pro bono activities and access to justice initiatives.
Jennifer Noseworthy, MSc
Paralegal and Office Manager
Jennifer Noseworthy brings a broad depth of experience to the role of Paralegal and Office Manager at Noseworthy Law. She is responsible for managing all firm files and overseeing the administration of the office. Jennifer has significant experience in research and writing and gathering and analyzing evidence. As an integral part of the team at Noseworthy Law, Jennifer helps to ensure that cases are thoroughly prepared for trial so that clients are provided with the best defence possible.
Jennifer possesses a Master of Science degree from York University, as well as training in Office Administration. Throughout her academic career, she was awarded numerous academic research awards and honours and has carried the same commitment to excellence into her role at Noseworthy Law.
